Birdie is the pen name of a real Bergen County parent (we like our privacy — you get it). Behind the scenes it's one local family plus a lot of carefully-built software that reads more than a hundred public town, library, park, and venue calendars every day so we don't have to. A human reviews what goes out.
Because a guide like this only works if every family can use it. The plan, eventually, is for local family businesses to sponsor the guide — clearly labeled, never sneaky. Families will never pay, and we never sell your information. That's a promise (it's also in writing, in our Terms & Privacy).
